Feb 14 Update: 176 species!

Just got back from a great trip to the Sunshine Coat with Doug Brown. Highlights include Ancient Murrelet and Townsend's Warbler. Will have a full report sometime soon.

Nanaimo tomorrow!

  1. The Sunshine Coat huh? Must be light and breeze resistant. Did you get the Rock Sandpiper?

  2. Believe it or not no! I did see distant specs on an islet that were distinctly smaller and drab-er than nearby turnstones and surfbirds but I couldn't bring myself to count them as Rockpipers. It's kind of a funny story actually which I will tell once I get home again and can upload photos.

Let's just say there's a good chance I'll be back there again soon!
